March Update
Dr Liz Falkner
It is with regret that we advise that after an extended leave of absence, Dr Falkner has decided to retire from General Practice. Dr Falkner has been actively trying to return to work for some time however this has sadly proven to be too difficult. Her patients should have received notification by letter but if you need to talk to us about your healthcare provider, please phone us on 370 0011 or 0800 222 505.
Flu Vaccines
The vaccinations are due to arrive in the country mid April. We will then run clinics for those people who wish to have a flu vaccination this year.
Doctor Appointment and Waiting Times
You may often find that your Doctor is running behind and you have to wait a considerable amount of time for your appointment. A gentle reminder to all that GP appointments are 15 minutes in length. If you have several issues to discuss with your GP, please make a longer appointment. Often patients take longer than 15 minutes which puts the GP behind for the rest of the day.
